Waterfalls and dam near La Faz campsite in Jura
Over 10,000 years ago in the Jura, the melting of the glaciers gave birth to numerous basins that became lakes.
There are 70 of them on the whole Jura mountains area, 20 of which can be discovered going by the Lakes Route.
Some of them are wild, some offer many water sports (Vouglans lake), and some are very popular for swimming (Chalain or Clairvaux-les-Lacs).
The Jura lakes will delight everyone, as well as the many waterfalls (Hérisson waterfalls, Quinquenouille waterfall, etc.)
